We absolutely love baking with Shepherd's Grain flour in The Original Breakfast Cookies but realize that wheat isn't for everyone. So here is a delicious and simple recipe for those busy, on-the-go mornings. Similar to our top seller, Double Chocolate Chunk, however it's completely customizable to you and your family's liking. These cookies are so easy to make, you don't even have to bake them!
Made with oats, chia seeds, no refined sugar, almond butter and coconut oil these cookies have good-for-you ingredients while calming the morning chaos. I love sneaking super foods into my daily diet - like chia seeds and coconut oil! Chia seeds are loaded with Omega-3 fatty acids, fiber and protein. I also use coconut oil as it adds a subtle, sweet taste and is great for skin, cholesterol and supports the immune system. With all these benefits, never reach for preservative packed, pre-made breakfasts again... this delicious recipe makes eight cookies that keep for 14 days in the fridge!
